Members of Oswego Fire Department help carry boxes of Thanksgiving foods out to people's vehicles on Tuesday.

OSWEGO, NY – Several members of the Oswego Fire Department continued a long-standing Thanksgiving tradition on Tuesday.

The Oswego firefighters helped distribute Thanksgiving staples at the Human Concerns office on East Fourth Street from 9 to 11 a.m.
Hundreds of families will have a happy Thanksgiving due to the efforts of Human Concerns and the firefighters.
“Each year, our members also donate $1,500 to this event,” Lieutenant Paul Conzone told Oswego County Today.
