OSWEGO, NY – Several members of the Oswego Fire Department continued a long-standing Thanksgiving tradition on Tuesday.

The Oswego firefighters helped distribute Thanksgiving staples at the Human Concerns office on East Fourth Street from 9 to 11 a.m.

Hundreds of families will have a happy Thanksgiving due to the efforts of Human Concerns and the firefighters.

“Each year, our members also donate $1,500 to this event,” Lieutenant Paul Conzone told Oswego County Today.

  1. The Firemen were fantastic! They worked hard to make this another memorable basket giveaway, I cannot thank them enough!! They moved a LOT of food and turkeys so all could enjoy Thanksgiving.
