Investigation Continues Into Early-Morning Crash

OSWEGO, NY – Today (Sept. 28) at about 2:50 a.m. the Oswego City Police Department was dispatched to West First and West Bridge streets for a personal injury motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a vehicle was travelling southbound on West First Street near Market Street when it struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the street at West First and Market.

After the vehicle struck the pedestrian, police say the vehicle continued southbound into the intersection of West First and Bridge where it collided with a second vehicle.

Three people were transported to Oswego Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Two people have been released, and the third person has been transported to Upstate Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is still on going.
