OSWEGO, NY – The kick off for this year Kingsford Park Elementary School “Parents As Reading Partners†program brought Jim McCarthy to the Oswego school.
McCarthy celebrates reading in song as he has written numerous tunes which include portions of elementary school children’s favorite books.
Students had a great time participating in the sing-along to celebrate the joy of reading.
This year students are being encouraged to “Go Wild With Reading†as parents and guardians have been asked to read together with the youngsters for 15 minutes a day.
