I am employed by Exelon Corp. at Nine Mile Point in the security department.

I have been married to my wife Diane, for 22 years with two beautiful kids, daughter a sophomore at SUNY Potsdam and son a sophomore at Oswego High.

I’ve been a resident of Scriba since 1970 and live on Skyline Drive.

I have had the honor of serving the people of Scriba in public office for 24 years.

I have served on the Scriba Town Board for 18 years, then having the honor of being elected to the Oswego County Legislature, as representative of District 14.

While serving on the legislature, under three different chairmen, I was privileged to serve as committee chairman of the Infrastructure, Facilities & Technology committee, Government, Courts & Consumer Affairs committee, vice chair Public Safety committee and chairman of Finance & Personnel committee.

I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in many areas. I know how town government is run, as I have been there many years.

I feel I have some good ideas on how we can make our great town Scriba a much better place to live and work in.

I want to bring the pride back to our town and the confidence in your town government.

We can do a better job for our residents who we serve, we serve them!

I have much experience in budgeting and finance, dealing with personnel issues, dealing with the public, treating them with the respect that they are due and demand.

I make no promises, because I take issues on a case by case basis, do research, then make the best educated decision for the town as a whole.

I have no problem making the tough choices that need to be made. That’s what a good supervisor does, might not be popular at times, but it’ll be the right one.

I was blessed to serve on the legislature for six years, being chosen by my peers, as the Majority Leader.

That gave me much more experience and learning as a leader.

I chose to take a few years away from public office, to prepare for my run for town supervisor.

I love community service and helping others. Some examples are presently active in my parish of St Mary’s, serving as president of Friends of Hospice, president of the Scriba Volunteer Fire Corp. for the second time, first time was mid 1980s.

Also, proudly serving as trustee and a past exalted ruler of the Oswego Elks Lodge #271.

I’ve been privileged to have the support of the Republican party for many years in the past, as well as the Conservative Party.

I thank chairman Ron Greenleaf and the Conservative committee for their past support and opportunity to petition this year.

Should anyone have questions, ideas on how we can make Scriba a better place, feel free to email me at [email protected]
