OPD Sting Operation Nets 3 Felony Drug Arrests

OSWEGO, NY – On Dec. 3, at about 2:08 p.m., as a result of a “sting operation” conducted by the Oswego City Police Department, three suspects were arrested on felony drug charges.

They are:

30-year-old Adam M. Durham of 321 Shirley Drive Syracuse, NY – charged with: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree / Intent to Sell (Class B-Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree (Class D-Felony).

30-year-old Louis A. Mike of 127 Genesee Park Drive Syracuse, NY – charge with: Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (Class B-Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree / Intent to Sell (Class B-Felony).

21-year-old Keira M. Gaston of 151 Bishop Ave., Syracuse, NY – charged with: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree / Intent to Sell (Class B-Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree (Class C-Felony).

Gaston also had an outstanding warrant based on a June 2010 Oswego Police Department arrest for drug possession.

On Dec. 4, all three suspects were arraigned in Oswego City Court on the above charges.

Durham was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Gaston was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Mike was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility with no bail.

According to Oswego City Police Chief Michael J. Dehm Jr., “These arrests are a direct result of our investigative efforts targeting dug sales in our community. I would like to compliment the investigating officers for a job well done and I fully anticipate additional arrests based on our ongoing drug related investigations.”
