FULTON – After several years working in the customer service field, Kelly Trejo found herself out of work.
She enjoyed working with people, but also wanted to make herself more marketable.

With funding assistance through a Workforce Investment Act training scholarship, Kelly completed the pharmacy technician program at OCM BOCES in August 2013.
Through her hard work and perseverance, Kelly is not only a successful graduate, but is currently employed full-time at Wayne Drug in Oswego.
She was hired by Wayne’s while completing her internship.
In addition to training scholarships, the Oswego County Workforce New York One Stop Center offers “On The Job Training,” which is job specific training provided by area employers where job seekers can learn a skill while earning a paycheck.
Job seekers can also participate in short-term vocational classes designed to enhance or upgrade current skills.
Information about these and other services provided to adult and youth job seekers through the Oswego County Workforce New York office is available by visiting the office, located at 200 N. Second St. in Fulton, or by calling 315-591-9000.
