Pauldine Case Gets Under Way In Oswego City Court

OSWEGO, NY – A jury of four women and three men (one an alternate) began hearing testimony Monday afternoon in the case against a local businessman.

Anthony M. Pauldine, of 190 Fifth Ave., was charged Oct. 26, 2009, with third-degree sexual abuse (a class B misdemeanor) and endangering the welfare of a child (a class A misdemeanor).

Pauldine was arrested after an investigation determined that he had allegedly subjected a boy, who was less than 17 years of age, to sexual contact on or about Oct. 18, 2009, police said.

The alleged victim took the witness stand Monday.

He testified that he was lying on a massage table in Pauldine’s home.

Pauldine allegedly began to rub the boy’s buttocks and then put his hand on his penis, the teen testified.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Donald Todd.

Pauldine is being represented by Anthony DiMartino.

Testimony continues today. The case is expected to wrap up on Wednesday. missing or outdated ad config
