Pulaski Man Facing Rape Charge

OSWEGO – A Pulaski man has been jailed on a rape charge.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gary A. Bubis Jr., 37, of 393 Albion Cross Road, Pulaski, on Oct. 24 at 12:29 p.m. and charged him with first-degree rape, a class B felony.

The arrest stems from an investigation into an incident that occurred in the fall of 2014 at a town of Albion residence.

He allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim by forcible compulsion.

Mr. Bubis was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court by Hon. Judge Adkins and remanded back to the Oswego County Jail where he currently is a resident, in lieu of $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.

He is to return to Town of Albion Court on Nov. 6.
