State Police Arrest Oswego Man Following Stalking Investigation

OSWEGO – On May 7, 2026, State Police arrested Douglas S. Waterbury, age 66, of Oswego, NY, for Stalking in the Fourth Degree (Class B misdemeanor).

The investigation began after a complaint was received on March 2, 2026, regarding conduct that occurred between December 2024 and February 2025. The investigation determined that Waterbury engaged in repeated unwanted contact with an adult female in the city of Oswego after being told to stop contacting her.

Waterbury was processed without incident and released on an appearance ticket, returnable to Oswego City Court on May 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
