State Police investigating a one-car rollover crash in Mattydale

On Tuesday, June 6, at approximately 7 a.m., a 2003 Ford Mustang was traveling southbound on Lemoyne Ave. in the town of Salina when it attempted to change lanes.

Due to unsafe speed and wet pavement, the driver lost control and began to spin, according to troopers.

The Mustang then exited the west side of the of the roadway striking a utility pole and rolling over a 3-foot cement wall, coming to rest upside down in the parking lot of Sweeneys Auto Repair.

The operator, identified as Anthony J. Dwyer, 29, from Phoenix, was transported to SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with a broken leg and internal injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
