OSWEGO – A lawsuit filed against the Oswego County Clerk regarding requests for criminal court records was dismissed on Tuesday, May 15, by Hon. Norman W. Seiter Jr., State Supreme Court Justice.
The Article 78 proceeding, filed by APS Information Services Inc. and Aaron P. Smith, involved requests for searches for County Court criminal records.
“I am pleased with Justice Seiter’s decision to dismiss the lawsuit, and I am relieved that this matter has been resolved,” said Oswego County Clerk George J. Williams.
