Victim Identified, In Stable Condition

OSWEGO – Through the investigation of the Oswego City Police Department, with on-scene investigative assistance provided by the Oswego County Sheriffs Department, it has been determined that 32-year-old Arron Hardy of Oswego, was walking westbound when she left the curb and walked into traffic on East Bridge Street (State Route 104) near the intersection of East Sixth Street.

Ms. Hardy was in the travel lane of the roadway and not within a crosswalk when she stepped into the path of a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, driven by 27-year-old Deanna Hart also of Oswego, police said.

Ms. Hart and her two juvenile passengers were not injured.

Ms. Hardy is being treated for undisclosed injuries at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, and is listed in stable condition.

No citations have been issued at this time.

The accident happened on 9/14/17 at about 6:17 p.m.

City police were dispatched to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of East Bridge and Sixth streets.
