PULASKI, NY – Pulaski Academy and Central Schools Superintendent Tom Jennings alerted the PACS community that all schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 15.

The district will be using its first emergency/snow day of the year, meaning no in-person or remote learning for students.

While students have the day off, ConnextCare will be holding a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for PACS employees.

“We remain committed to doing all we can to provide for the safety and well-being of the staff, students and families of our school district,” Jennings said. “Please do not hesitate to contact my office or your child’s school with questions.”

More information on the vaccine can be found here.

  1. Wow, waste a snow day for vaccinations. I hope with all the snow they get they don’t go over. I’m sure people will be thrilled if they have to cut vacations short to make up for the day. Maybe they should have done a Superintendent conference day or offered the shots before, after and during they day. Maybe have some subs in the building in case a teacher has an adverse reaction.
