PULAKI, NY- St. James Episcopal Church, a fixture in Northern Oswego County’s spiritual community of Pulaski since its founding in the early 1850’s, was recently forced to undergo emergency repairs to the sanctuary ceiling.

The members of the Parish have undertaken a fundraising effort to help defray the costs of repairing the ceiling, and keeping the historic structure available for worship service and community support for another 170 or more years.

Members of the community of faith have been able to carry on with their many contributions to the Pulaski area, using undamaged portions of the church.

According to St. James Episcopal Parish Priest Reverend Shelly Banner, the church will be seeking donations for the repair costs for the foreseeable future.
