State Police Arrest Teen for Making a Threat of Mass Harm

OSWEGO COUNTY – On September 27, 2024, State Police arrested a 17-year-old female from West Monroe, NY, for Making a Threat of Mass Harm (class “B” misdemeanor).

This morning, State Police in Hastings responded to the Central Square High School in response to an FBI tip from Snapchat involving a student making a post with threats to shoot up the school. The student was located at her residence and the threat was deemed non-credible.

The 17-year-old was arrested at her home and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Oswego County Family Court and released to her guardian
