Albert D. Hall, 86, of Volney, died Friday at home.

Born in Volney, he was a life resident. Al had been employed by various companies in the area including Nestle Co., Armstrong Cork Co., and Sealright Co. He had also had a farm and was the owner and operator of Hall’s Meat Market in Volney. Al and his wife were family care providers for several adults for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.

Al was predeceased by six brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by: his wife of 34 years, the former Sandy Lamond; six daughters, Sandy (Shawn) Bremm, Colleen (Ed) Jones, Christine (Bob) Whitman, Kim (John) Thompson, Jodi (Jody) Wilcox and Norma Jean (Bob) DeMarco; a son, Ricky Beck; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Calvin and Cedric Hall; a sister, Carrie Palmer.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Contributions in Al’s memory may be made to Friend’s of Oswego County Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego, 13126.
