Alice Haresign, 93

OSWEGO, NY – Alice Haresign, 93, a former resident of Hamilton Homes in Oswego, passed away Saturday Oct. 31, 2009, at the Pontiac Nursing Home.

Mrs. Haresign was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late John and Susan (Lupa) Seinoski.

She was a life resident.

She was the wife of the late Raymond Haresign, who died in 1984.

Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at the Oswego Candy Works.

Mrs. Haresign enjoyed quilting and knitting.

She loved flowers, and was an avid gardener.

She was a communicant of St. Stephen’s Church.

She is survived by a son, John R. (Lucy) Haresign Sr. of Scriba; a brother, John Seinoski of Oswego; two sisters, Ann Seinoski of Oswego and Helen Coyer of Oswego; three grandsons, John R. (Tricia) Haresign Jr., Shane R. (Nicole) Haresign and Eric M. Haresign; two great-grandchildren, Rieley Lynn Haresign and Dylan John Haresign; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stephen’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St. in Oswego. missing or outdated ad config
