Carol L. LaRock, 71, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday at The Manor at Seneca Hill in Volney.

Born in Alton, she was a life resident of the Fulton-Phoenix area. Carol was a graduate of North Rose High School and had attended Buffalo State University. Carol and her husband Robert owned and operated the Top of the Hill Diner for 28 years and retired in 2003. She had also worked as a bookkeeper for the Great Bear Farm. She was a former member of the State Street United Methodist Church, Fulton. Carol loved cooking, crafts and enjoyed being part of the Port City Square Dancers in Oswego.

She was predeceased by a sister, Sally Feidt, who died in 2002.

Carol is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert of Fulton; a son, Michael (Joan Bergan) LaRock of Hannibal; a daughter, Lisa (Rob) Lewis of Fulton; two sisters, Mary Green and Susan (Rick) Bennett; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial is at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, Lomond Office Pk., 110 Lomond Ct., Utica, 13502.
