Charles F. “Reno” Shoults, 68

Charles F. “Reno” Shoults, 68, of Fulton, passed away peacefully Thursday at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Fulton, he was a life resident of the Fulton – Oswego area. Reno had worked at Armstrong World Industries for over 10 years. He was a Marine veteran serving from 1961 to 1965. He was a member of the Fulton VFW Post 569. Reno was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and vintage cars.

He was predeceased by his wife, Ann Shoults; a daughter, Linda Dicks; parents, Raymond E. and Isabell Gage Shoults; brothers, Raymond, Daniel, Fred and Floyd and a sister, Florence Dorr.

Surviving: daughters, Rae Shoults of Fulton, Lisa (Jay) Gardenier of Fulton and Kelly (John) Broedel of Liverpool; a son, Donald (Wendy) Currier of Fulton; seven grandsons, James, Christopher, Cody, Ryan, Logan, Matthew and Brad; four granddaughters, Destiny, Jenna, Alysha, and Lindsey; one great-granddaughter, Keyiara; sister, Shirley Phelps; two brothers, Lloyd and Bill Shoults; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday with a 5 p.m. service to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Spring burial with military honors will be at Hannibal Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions may be made to Oswego Hospital, 110 West 6th Street, Oswego, 13126. The family would like to thank family, friends and all of the staff at Oswego Hospital for all their help and support.
