Cynthia “Cindy” Morris, 55, a resident of Fulton for 31 years, passed away Saturday November 22, 2008, at University Hospital, Syracuse. Born in Bradford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Moonan Sr. and Barbara (Heinbach) Layton. Cindy worked for Eckerd Drugs in various positions for 22 years. She was an avid New York Yankees and NASCAR fan. She was predeceased by her daughter, Tina Marie Morris and by a brother, Charles “Butch” Moonan, Jr.

Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Gary Morris of Fulton; son, Todd (Melissa) Morris of Fulton; stepmother, Nancy Moonan of Bradford, PA; six sisters, Terry (Yvonne) Moonan both of Redding, PA, Ligh Layton of AZ, Carol “Peanut” Vanhorn of Bradford, PA, Debbie Joiclin of FL, Lynn Fullerton of Erie, PA, Joyce Woodruff of PA; two brothers, Michael Layton of VA and Randy Layton of FL; three sisters-in-law, Charlene Pike of Rochester, Carol Scamp of Fairport and Sharon Mack of VA; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; cousins, Kathy and Rusty Richardson of Chili; close friends, Linda and Gordon Woodward, Don and Joan Fellt and Fred and Dixie Bough all of Fulton.

Calling hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008 with a 4 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery, Limestone, NY.
