Daniel E. Taylor, 55, 08/19/2008

OSWEGO, NY – Daniel E. Taylor, 55, a resident of 2548 Johnson Road in the Town of Oswego, passed away Tuesday Aug. 19, 2008, at Oswego Hospital.

Mr. Taylor was born in Oswego, the son of Norma (Guernsey) Taylor and the late Charles Taylor.

He was a life resident.

He was the husband of Kim (Howard) Taylor.

He had been employed, for 10 years, as a molder with the Oswego Castings Co.

Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the US Navy.

He was an avid fan of the Oswego Speedway and of NASCAR.

Mr. Taylor enjoyed boating and spending time on the water.

He is survived by his wife, Kim of the Town of Oswego; his mother, Norma, of Sandy Pond; a daughter, Deborah (Ralph) Giberson of the Town of Oswego; a son, Daniel H. (Melissa) Taylor of Oswego; 10 brothers; a sister; two granddaughters, Rose Giberson and Grace Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m.Friday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.

There will be no calling hours.

    I am very sorry to her of your loss. He was a great man! I will never forget the time in the bathroom at oswego speedway! If there is anything I can do please call.

  2. I remember all the good times we shared at the Oswego Speedway when he pitted for Frank . . . and I was with the Team Jodway Team. . . .he was a great guy . . .always in smiles. . . .such a joker. . . .
