Diane Haynes, 41

Diane Haynes, 41; of Concord, NC died Thursday at The Carolina’s Northeast Medical Center, NC.

Ms. Haynes was born in Oswego and she was a resident of Oswego for many years. She was a past member of the Oswego American Legion, The Moose Lodge, the Elk’s Club, and the Oswego VFW. Ms. Haynes was also an avid softball player. She was pre-deceased by her finance Peter James Fiore in 2009.

Ms. Haynes is survived by her daughters: Nicole Haynes of the USS McCampbell, Japan; and Emily Weaver of NC, 2 brothers: Fred “Wolf” Haynes, Richard “Dickie” Haynes, 2 sisters: Kathy Haynes, and Elaine Scortino all of Oswego, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th St. Oswego, NY. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
