Ellen P. Rodriquez, 67, a resident of St. Luke Apartments, Oswego, passed away, Saturday, September 6th, 2008 at University Hospital.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late George and Ester (Bailey) Rice.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casinos, playing cards and Bunko at St. Luke’s and having a good time.
Surviving is her daughter, Carmen (Adrian) Elliot of Virginia, four sons, Michael (Ellen Spano) Rodriquez of Oswego; George Rodriquez of Oswego; Ken (Audrey Flynn) Rodriquez of Rochester and Herman Rodriquez of Missouri. Two brothers, George (Murriel) Rice of Oswego and Chuck (Joyce) Rice of Texas. Three sisters, Pearl Taylor of Martville; Mary (William) Gummer of Oswego and Ruth (Glen) Owen of Oswego. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Mike Rodriquez, her second husband, Jack Burnswick and her brother Donald Rice and her sister, Jenny Sixberry.
Memorial services will be 8 p.m. Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Graveside services will be held 12 noon, Friday at Rural Cemetery, Town of Oswego.
Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, prior to service, at the funeral home.
