FULTON, NY – Emeline Drake, 86, of Fulton, NY, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton, after a long illness.
She was born in Malone, NY, and she had been a resident of Fulton for most of her life.
Mrs. Drake was past employed with Syracuse Pottery, and Megal Container, Fulton.
She was a past member of the Holy Family Altar Rosary, and VFW Post #569 Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed gardening and she loved being a grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Bernard Drake of Fulton; her children, Sharon (John) Smith of Liverpool, NY and Kenneth Drake of Fulton; four grandchildren: Jeffery Becker, Nicole Bogan, Andrew Becker and Jill Zablotny; 10 great-grandchildren: Madison, Emily, Edward, Sarah, Allison, Zachary, Jason, Nathan, Adam, and Noah; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the Sugar Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church where Rev. Robert Stephenson will celebrate a mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be held in Jacksonville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.

Words cannot express our reaction to the news of Emeline’s death. We can still hear her loving words and caring wishes for us. She had such a big heart, we always felt loved in her presence. We will miss her.
