PHOENIX, NY – Esther Mae Sweet, 85, of Phoenix, NY, passed away on Wednesday October 31, 2018, at Loretto Fahey Care Center, Syracuse, during a brief stay.

She was born to her late parents, Adella (Wickert) and Samuel Wright, on Jan. 21, 1933, in Syracuse, NY.
She was a graduate of Liverpool High School.
She had attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Liverpool, in the past.
Esther was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 105 Phoenix, NY.
She also loved to sit and play her piano in her home.
Esther was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Kenneth W. Sweet Sr., on June 5, 2018; also her three sisters
and two brothers were predeceased.
Surviving are her childdren: Kenneth W. (Donna) Sweet Jr., Caleb B. Sweet, Samuel W. Sweet and Ella Mae Sweet; one grandson, Ryan David Isabell; one sister, Dorothy Reiffenstein; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday November 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY.
At 7 p.m., there will be a short service presented by the Order of the Eastern members.
Burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
