PHOENIX, NY – Gene L. Sedner, 79, of Granby (Fulton) passed away on Sunday April 22, 2018, in Rome, NY.
He was born on June 2, 1938, town of Volney, NY, to his late parents
Jeannette (Desroisers) and Kenneth L. Sedner.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps., Gene was employed at Nestle Co. of Fulton for 42 years.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathy Duby; and two sisters, Evelyn Fox and Patricia Jones.
Suviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Ellie (Potts) Sedner; son, Keith Sedner; daughter, Laurie Parker; four grandkids, Bradley Parker, Wyatt Parker, Felicia Parker and Brigitte Duby; siblings, Margaret McArdell, and George (Wilma) Sedner; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday April 26, with a 3 p.m. funeral service all in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY.
Burial and USMC honors to follow in Pennellville Cemetery, County Route 54, Pennellville, NY.
