PHOENIX, NY – Georgia M. Draughn, 76, of Schroeppel (Phoenix), passed away suddenly on Sunday October 22, 2017, at her home.
She was born in Syracuse on Nov. 11, 1940, to her late parents, Ruby Thelma (Green) and George H. Simmons.
Georgia was employed by Syroco Co., in Van Buren (Baldwinsville) for 15 years.
Georgia was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Fulton Congregation.
She enjoyed needlepoint, baking, music and loved to play games with family and friends on Saturday nights.
Surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, Royce M.; her children Diana (Steve) Denslow of Lowville, Duane Draughn of Hannibal, Royce “Daryl” (Michele) Draughn of Smithton, Ill., George (Michelle) Draughn of Hannibal and Owen (Nancy) Draughn of Fulton; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Leslie Orman; nieces
and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, October 27, at 1 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall, at 13 County Route 85, Fulton, NY.
