PHOENIX, NY – Henry O. Jones, 77, former Pennellville, NY, resident, passed away at Seneca Hill Manor Residential Care facility on Friday Jan. 19, 2018.
He was born in Oswego County to his late parents, Mildred Mae (Parkhurst) and Howard L. Jones Sr., on Dec. 22, 1940.
Henry was a roofer for Diamond Roofing Co., Syracuse.
Besides his parents, Howard Sr. passing on May 25, 1966, and his mother, Mildred, passing on Feb. 28, 2008, he was predeceased by his brother, James H. Jones, on Sept. 27, 1990.
Surviving are his four siblings Howard L. Jones Jr., Jan (Ron) Johst, Ada Caines, and Ronald (Patricia) Jones; several nieces and nephews; additional family members, Anne Jones, Richard Caines, and Betty Clute; and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday Jan. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY.
Immediately following the calling hours, a funeral service will commence with the Rev. Jeff Hodge officiating.
A Spring burial will occur in the Pennellville Cemetery, County Route 54, Pennellville.
