James Dean DeWitt, 59

PHOENIX, NY – James Dean DeWitt, 59, of Pennellville, NY, passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2019.

He was born in Albany, NY, on Feb. 29, 1960, to his mother Georgianna M. (Wilday) and his late father Olin Dean DeWitt.

He worked for Price Chopper
Supermarkets in the Capital region eventually coming to Central New York area.

His last position was at the Erie Boulevard location, town of DeWitt, NY.

Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, a good handyman and liked to cook.

He was predeceased by his father, Olin Dean DeWitt; his siblings, Olin DeWitt and Tina DiNova.

Surviving are his loving companion of 24 years, Nancy Reno; his children, Jimmy (Jessica) DeWitt and Danielle DeWitt all of Schenectady, NY, Dylan (Emily) DeWitt of Fulton, NY, Daniel
(Kayli), Reno of Fulton, NY, and Christopher (Alicia) Reno of Fulton, NY; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Georgianna (Lloyd) Proctor of Wynantskill, NY; his siblings, Tammy (Lester) Douglas of Troy, NY, Georgette (John) Neeld of Jacksonville, Fla.,
Cathy Lemner of Poestenkill, NY, and Lloyd (Christa) Proctor, of Virginia; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday April 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a 1 p.m. funeral service all in the Allanson-
Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY.
