After the passing of her husband Alex, Shirley reentered the workforce. She found great pleasure working at Springside at Seneca Hill for 14 years, where she developed new friendships and enjoyed being there for the residents.

Shirley is survived by her children, Sandra (Harold) Walsh and Scott (Amy) Dunham; her step-children, Kim Cole, Renee Donhauser, Rhonda Raponi and Gale Raponi; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alexander Raponi and by her brother, Glenn Fenske.

The family would like to acknowledge her granddaughter, Siobhan Kitts and great granddaughter, Grace, for all their loving care given during Grammy’s illness.

There are no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton. To leave a message of sympathy for Shirley’s family, please visit www.brownfuneralhomefulton.com
