SCRIBA, NY – Ross Thomas Rupert, 78 of Scriba, New York, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his home after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born in Oswego, New York, and was the son of the late Ross J. and Veronica Budd Rupert. He was a millwright by trade and had been employed with Alcan for 40 years until his retirement.
Mr. Rupert was predeceased by Anna Mae Roach Rupert, his loving wife of 52 years.
He is survived by his four sons, Ross A.(Leticia) of Delaware, Thomas R. (Katie) of Oswego, Daniel R. (Shannon) of Fulton, and Andrew R.(Jennifer) of Red Creek, one sister, Sandara Snyder of Oswego, eleven grandchildren: Isabella, Gabriel, Nicholas, Thomas, Lillian, Bradley, Leanna, Stefan, Mariah, Evan and Allison, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Rural Cemetery and a celebration of life will be planned in the spring.
