OSWEGO, NY – Carole A. Griggs, 69, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Tuesday October 11, 2016, at her home.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Rose (Zayown) Clark and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
She also attended school to become an interior designer.
Carole was a RCIA teacher at both St. Mary’s Church and St. Paul’s Church.
She also taught CCD and loved to cross stitch.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Carl Griggs; a daughter, Melissa Griggs of Oswego; a sister, Barbara O’Brien of Watertown; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 – 7 p.m.
