David J. Graham, 65

OSWEGO, NY – David J. Graham, 65, a resident of Scriba passed away on Friday April 26, 2013, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in the Bronx, he was the son of the late David and Florence Graham.

He attended schools in the Bronx and graduated from the Yorktown Heights High School.

He was employed with Nestles for 38 years.

Mr. Graham was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army as a Airborne Ranger in Germany.

Dave was a tech inspector at the Oswego Speedway and enjoyed spending time in his prized garage.

He loved all the time he spent with his grandchildren and enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, the former Ginger Wadas; three children, Ashlee (Jamie) Graham of Scriba, Mark (Laura) Cooper of Martville and Melanie (John) Byrnes of Oswego; two sisters, Diane (Walter) Drier of Yorktown Heights and Debra (Paul) Kaufman of Connecticut; a brother, Denis (Marie) Graham of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Aylee and Tyler; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private and at the conveinence of the family.

  1. I am so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. I worked with him when I started with Nestle back in 1981. He was a good mentor to me at that time and I’ll always remember his smile and sense of humor during the many years we worked together.

  2. Bob worked with Dave at Nestle’s for year’s and we bowled with him too. He was a great guy. Our deepest sympathies goes out to the family. He will be missed.
