OSWEGO, NY – Ethel A. Kymer, 99, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Tuesday January 13, 2015, at the St.Luke Health Services.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late George and Clara (Johnson) Rehor and had attended local schools.
She was the director of admission at Oswego Hospital for 23 years and was a member of the Oswego Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are three grandchildren, Heather Illingworth, Sarah Illingworth and Nancy Anderson; a great-granddaughter, Joanie Anderson; a daughter-in-law, Jan Illingworth; and a nephew, James (Angela) Rehor.
She was predeceased by her husbands, John Anderson and Lawrence Kymer; two sons, Donald Anderson and Gary Illingworth; and her brother, George Rehor.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Friday from 2 – 4 p.m. with a service to follow.
Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

To sweet Ethel’s family; my heartfelt sorrow is with you today as Heaven has gained another angel. Ethel was such a kind soul and loved by all who met her. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with all of you today and into the future.
