Jack E. Sheridan, 95

OSWEGO, NY – Jack E. Sheridan, 95, a resident of Drumlin Heights in Radisson and a former resident of Oswego and St. Augustine, Florida, passed away on Saturday morning November 8, 2013, at his home.

Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Alfred and Lily (Lane) Sheridan and had attended Oswego schools.

He was employed with Cyclotherm for 21 years, the Carrier Corporation for 13 years and the power plants in Scriba for five years.

Mr. Sheridan was a Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus in Oswego and Florida.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed carpentry work.

Surviving are his wife of 76 years, the former, M. Pauline Raby; four children, Anne (William) Dodds of Minetto, Jack (Susan) Sheridan of Remsen, Linda Sheridan of Baldwinsville and Mary Beth (Raymond) Pauldine of Fulton; a brother, Richard (Penny) Sheridan of Oswego; a sister, Marie Henderson of Oswego; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto.

Entombment will be in All Saint’s Mausoleum.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9 – 10 a.m.
