Kevin M. Kaylor

Kevin M. Kaylor was born July 4, 1980, and died on Wednesday May 18, 2016.

Kevin spent most of his life in Central New York, before finally settling in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

After several attempts including Keuka College, Buffalo State College, Oswego State College and the University of Maryland, Kevin received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and then Master’s of Science in Cybersecurity.

Enlisting in the Air Force/Air National Guard on April 25, 2001, he spent 14 years serving with the 174 Attack Wing and the 222 Command and Control Squadron.

He loved the Air Force and missed wearing the uniform.

Kevin is survived by his beautiful wife, Sara (Hertlein); parents Lawrence and Paula (Thompson) Kaylor; two sisters, Tonya Hall and Janet Kaylor; four brothers, Ward Hall, Jeremy Kaylor, Ty Kaylor (Linda Struallo) and Jonathon Hall; several aunts and uncles as well as 18 nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Adam Cook Kaylor.

Friends and family may call at the Emmanuel Baptist Bible Church, 15564 State Route 104, Martville, on Saturday from 1 – 2 p.m. with a service to follow at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy to further their computer/technology department of which Kevin was a large part of last year.
