OSWEGO, NY – Lisa Lynn Fetterley (Knopp), 44, passed away suddenly on Saturday Nov. 27, 2010, at her mother’s house surrounded by her family.
Lisa was born in Oswego on Sept. 13, 1966, to Mary Knopp Bortel.
She was a graduate of Oswego High School, the BOCES Dental Program and St. Luke’s CNA Program.
She was employed as a nurse’s aide at St. Luke’s for 11 years.
She loved to go yard saleing and enjoyed decorating her home.
Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Mary and Charles Bortel of Oswego; her husband, Nelson; five children, Matthew, Felicia, Shane, Bobby and Jabaree; her sister, Kim (David) Dunsmoor; and nephew, Justin Dunsmoor.
Lisa’s whole life was her children and she loved them very much.
She was a hard worker and loved taking care of the elderly.
She had the best smile and a great sense of humor.
The world will not be the same without her.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.
