M. Pauline Sheridan, 93

OSWEGO, NY – M. Pauline Sheridan, 93, a resident of Drumlins Heights in Radisson, and a former resident of Oswego and St.Augustine, Fla., passed away on Sunday August 31, 2014, at the Francis House.

Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Genevieve (Faber) Raby and had attended Oswego schools.

She was employed with the Campbell’s Department Store for 30 years.

Pauline was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and was an avid reader.

Surviving are her four children, Anne (William) Dodds of Minetto, Jack (Susan) Sheridan of Remsen, NY, Linda Sheridan of Baldwinsville and Mary Beth (Raymond) Pauldine of Fulton; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Pauline has gone to be with her husband of 76 years, Jack E. Sheridan, who predeceased her on November 9, 2013.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto.

Entombment will be in All Saint’s Mausoleum, Oswego.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral  Home on Thursday from 9 – 10 a.m.

  1. Sheridan Family , sorry for your loss. Pauline was a wonderful Lady always happy, that’s how I will always remember her. I wish you all peace and comfort in knowing your Mom and Dad are united again.

  2. Paul and I go a long way back … as cousins we remained in touch .. even though distance came between us .. her Dad was my Godfather .. the Raby’s were a close knit family and I miss them all .. she was such a cheerful person to be around ……… Betty
