Margaret M. LaTulip, 95

OSWEGO, NY – Margaret M. LaTulip, 95, a resident of West Seventh Street, passed away on Friday evening Jan. 13, 2012, at her home.

Born in Syracuse, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Finkler) Carroll and was a graduate of the Vocational High School in Syracuse.

She was employed with the IBEW and later retired from the Oswego County Mental Hygiene Department in 1980 after 10 years of service.

Margaret was a former president of the St.Mary’s Women’s Club and was a volunteer for RSVP.

She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed crafts.

Surviving are three daughters, JoAnn LaTulip of Oswego, Katie (Rick) Croce of Webster and Peggy (William Roege) Focarino of Fairfax Station Va.; six grandchildren, Allison, Joe, Katy, Jake, Brian and Jason; one great-grandson, Zachary; four sisters-in-law, Marie Carroll, Nan LaTulip, Jean LaTulip and Doris LaTulip; two brother-in-law, James LaTulip Sr. and Donald Buske; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph LaTulip Jr., in 1975.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
