OSWEGO, NY – Mary Ann Ross, 88, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Wednesday August 26 at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late George and Jessie (Day) LeRoy and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
She retired from the New York Telephone Company as a telephone operator.
Surviving are her two daughters, Karen (Ronald) Gadziala of Oswego and Joanne (James) Stone of Oswego; a sister, Norma Fairly of Oswego; four grandchildren, Christine Stone, Amy Stone, Ross Gadziala and Ryan Gadziala; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, F. Joseph Ross; a brother, George “Bunzy” LeRoy; and two sisters, Jessie Carney and Shirley Winterhalt.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Friday from 5 – 7 p.m.
