OSWEGO, NY – Mary Gunther Truax, a former resident of Oswego, passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2016, in Vermont.
She was a daughter of William G. Gunther and the late Barbara J. Gunther.
Mary loved being outdoors, spending time with nature and bird watching.
She also enjoyed music and coins.
Surviving besides her father are her siblings, William J. Gunther, Jeffrey D. Gunther, Michael J. Gunther and Christine J. Norris; aunts,uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from noon – 2 p.m. at the Dowdle Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow the hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 17 Technology Pl.#3, East Syracuse NY 13057.
