OSWEGO, NY – Mary S. Chwalek, 85, a resident of Oswego Town, passed away on Friday October 24, 2014, at her home.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Riley) Stone Sr.
She was a graduate of Oswego High School and had attended the State University of Oswego for two years.
Mary was a secretary for the Oswego City School District for 20 years.
Surviving are two step-daughters and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred “Pinky” Chwalek, in 2011; and her brother, John H. Stone Jr., in 1995.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
