Shirley E. Blum

OSWEGO, NY – Shirley E. Blum, 76, a resident of Maple Street passed away on Monday Oct. 17, 2011, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Julie (Sudal) Guernsey and was a graduate of Oswego High School.

She was employed with Sealright for nearly ten years.

Shirley was an avid tennis fan and enjoyed bowling and bingo.

Surviving are two sons, Michael (Cheryl) Blum of El Paso, Texas, and Jack (Lisa) Blum of Oswego; a daughter, Patricia Hofmann of Baldwinsville; a sister, Nancy Cannady of Oswego; two brothers, Gerald (Theresa) McManus of Oswego and Michael (Carol) McManus; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jack Guernsey.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
