OSWEGO, NY – Susan A. Favata, 57, a resident of the Maple Manor in Pulaski, passed away on Saturday February 2, 2013, at her home.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Vileta (Gulliver) Favata and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
Susan won many medals in swimming at the Special Olympics.
She enjoyed all the time she spent with her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Surviving are her daughter, Stephanie Favata of Syracuse; two brothers, Richard (Phyllis) Favata of Oswego and Daniel Favata of Scriba; several nieces, nephews and cousins among whom are Wendy, Peggy and Laurie.
She was predeceased by her sister, Karen Burnswick.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. with a service to follow the hours.
Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

I had the pleasure f knowing Sue through the Clubhouse and she was a very nice lady with a great smile. So sorry to hear of her passing .
