HANNIBAL, NY – Adelaide I. Pierce, 100, formerly of Hannibal, passed away Monday February 25, 2013, at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton.
A native of Granby, Mrs. Pierce had resided in Hannibal most of her life.
She retired in 1977 after 33 years with Sealright Company, Fulton.
She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Pierce, who died in 1971; and by her daughter, Beverly J. Haven.
Surviving are: five sons, John M. Pierce Jr. of Parish, Clarence M. Pierce of Syracuse, William F. Pierce of Fulton, Richard E. Pierce of Hannibal and Bruce W. Pierce of Martville; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren; six great-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., Fulton, 13069.
