Agnes H. Stacey LaClair Stanton, 87, of Fulton, died May 18, 2010 at home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. Agnes enjoyed cooking and knitting sweaters for her cherished family. She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd D. Stanton, who died in 1982.
Surviving are her five children, Leon (Rebecca) LaClair of Denver, CO, Terry LaClair of Albuquerque, NM, Floyd (Connie Henderson) Stanton, Jr. of Fulton, Sandra (Darryl) Elliott of Sandy Creek and Bonnie (Diana Gardiner) Frawley of Phoenix; four sisters, Carol Murray, Delores Yazel, Veronica Pond and Frances Manning all of FL; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, John LaClair and sister-in-law, Beatrice LaClair.
Memorial services are 10 a.m. Friday at Pennellville United Methodist Church, 389 County Route 54, Pennellville. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057 or Friends of Oswego County Hospice, Inc., PO Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126-0102.
