Anne Relf, 62

FULTON, NY – Anne Relf (ne: Joyce), 62, of Fulton, slipped her earthly bonds and went to Paradise to be with her mother on Thursday August 22, 2013.

She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family members from New York and Ireland.

Anne was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

She is survived by Jim, her childhood sweetheart and husband of 43 years; and by her children: Michael (Julie) Relf of Cicero, Lisa  Relf (Robert) Duso of Fulton, Anne-Marie Relf (Jessie) Waugh of Fulton, Kevin (Lauren) Relf of Syracuse and Brendan Relf of Fulton; six grandchildren, Connor Relf, Evan Waugh, Kaylee Waugh, Cassidy Duso and Will Duso all of Fulton and Kate Relf of Cicero; sisters, Betty Misertino of Fulton and Eileen Joyce of Belfast, Northern Ireland; brothers, Noel Joyce and Joseph Joyce both of Belfast, Northern Ireland; and several nieces and nephews.

Anne was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Fulton and a member of the Fulton Polish Home and past president of the Lady Hibernians.

She was an active member of the Fulton community and will be greatly missed by her many friends in New York and family in New York and Ireland.

Our Lady of Knock pray for her, may she rest in peace, Amen.

Calling hours are from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Rochester and South Third streets, Fulton, with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, PO Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126-0102.

  1. Jim – Many thoughts and prayers are with you! Annie was a great person and good friend – always had a smile. Will always remember her singing the Irish songs for us at the Polish Home. “Years may come and years may go”

  3. Jim and family….I am so deeply sad about Anne’s passing. She was such a happy sweet person. So many people will miss her. I know God welcomed her with open arms…God bless you all and grant you peace. Love, Louella

    While i only knew Anne for a short time, she made quite an impression with her strength and courage during her fight.

    I am glad she had one last chance to dance on July 26th at the Polish Home..She will be missed. R-I-P Annie!

To all the Relfs from all the Places…We wish you peace and wish you to know that we are thinking of all of you…the Place kids and the Relf kids always seemed to be in something together..and most I will remember Jim and Ann…always together…always laughing and always proud of their children and grands. I know how difficult this is for all of you …but know she is in the loving arms of those who went before…Love to you all.
