FULTON – Bernard Lyle Howard, 76, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Oswego Hospital.
He was born in 1944, in Syracuse, a son to the late Lyle and Hazel Connor Howard. Bernie retired in 2004 from Carrier, in Syracuse, after 37 years. He also enjoyed helping his father at the family gas station in Fulton, Howard’s Sunoco, for several years.
Bernie was predeceased by his sister, Gloria.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara; two children, Brian (Tina Bennett) Howard, Sr. and Jennifer (Anthony Stania) Howard both of Fulton; two grandchildren, Brian Howard, Jr. of South Carolina and Cody Howard of Fulton and one sister, Jean Howard of Fulton.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, with a service to immediately follow at noon. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Volney.
