Bernice I. Raymond, 67

FULTON, NY – Bernice I. Raymond, 67, of Fulton, died Thursday January 24, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Miss Raymond was a native and life resident of Fulton.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Loretto Nursing Home in Oswego.

Previously she worked at the Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville and Crouse Memorial Hospital in Syracuse.

Miss Raymond was a member of State Street United Methodist Church.

She served in the US Army from 1971-1976 where she obtained her nursing certificate.

Surviving are: a sister, Edith Mosher of Lexington, Kentucky; one niece, Roberta (Charles) Oglesbee; a nephew, Jeffrey (Robin) Mosher; two grandnephews, Hayden and Alex; one grandniece, Hunter as well as several cousins.

Calling hours will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay
St., Fulton.

    So sorry to hear about Berniece, we graduated together and always spent time at the class reunions, I am Ruth Peronne sister and she also sends her regards, she was a very nice person and I am so glad that we went to school together.

  2. Bernice was a customer of Smart Insurance Co. for many yrs. When she would come in to pay on a bill or make a change on her policy we would enjoy a great conversation and almost always she would have a tootsie roll pop in her pocket to share along with her “sweet” personality! She made me smile when I saw her coming in!
