Bette Besaw Dunham

FULTON, NY – Bette Besaw Dunham, of Fulton, passed away on Friday January 22, 2016, at Morningstar Care Center in Oswego.

A native of Fulton, she was a life resident.

Bette retired from Nestle Company in Fulton as a supervising manager after more than 35 years with the company.

She was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church, its vestry and altar guilds.

She was also a member and past matron of Elizabeth Chapter #105, Order of the Eastern Star in Fulton and the Red Hat Society.

Bette served as a commissioner for the town of Granby and a volunteer for the A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Lanigan Elementary School.

Bette was predeceased by her husband, William C. Dunham, in 1975; brother, Robert Besaw; and sisters, Ellen Hawley and Marjorie Norvell.

Surviving are her sister, Barbara Blake of Fulton and sister, Patricia Loomis of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services immediately following a 1 p.m.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
